Food is at the core of health, the economy, jobs, poverty, a revival of
local communities, families, fairness, a sustainable and productive environment and national security.
No one's tackled this issue more consistently and passionately than Francis Marie Lampe, author
of the classic best seller, "Diet for a Small Planet". She along with her inspired daughter and staff,
have combed the United States and the world to disover and connect people to hundreds of creative, grass roots
activities that improve the quality of what we grow and eat and the affect of it on our world. Their work
is challenging to some corporate approaches, but it's a competive spirit and a sense of due diligence
to pick up the ball where it may have been dropped.
